Innovation Gate

Privacy Policy

Effective September 1, 2026 Applies to SneakyTimer for iOS

Who we are

Innovation Gate publishes SneakyTimer, a sports and workout timer for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it lives, and what choices you have. It applies to SneakyTimer; other apps published by Innovation Gate may have their own privacy notices.

What SneakyTimer collects

Nothing. SneakyTimer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. There is no sign-up, no user account, and no server component. The app does not use analytics, crash-reporting services, advertising networks, or any third-party software development kits that gather data.

This is reflected in the app's App Store privacy label, which reads Data Not Collected.

Information stored on your device

To work, SneakyTimer keeps some information locally on your iPhone. It never leaves the device unless you back up or sync your phone through Apple's own services (such as iCloud device backup), which are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

  • Timer and Sneaky Mode settings — your chosen durations, display style, stretch percentages, and sound and haptic preferences.
  • Saved workouts — the interval workouts you create (names, durations, rounds, sets).
  • Workout history and statistics — completed sessions, including displayed time, real time, and the difference between them, used to show your streaks, records, and Sneaky Bonus.

We cannot access, read, or recover any of this information.

In-app purchases

SneakyTimer Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the transaction and handles your payment method, billing details, and subscription management. Innovation Gate does not receive your name, payment information, or Apple ID.

To unlock Pro features, the app reads the purchase status from Apple's StoreKit framework on your device. This check happens on-device and is not reported to us. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions.

Notifications and Live Activities

With your permission, SneakyTimer schedules local notifications so a timer can finish audibly while the app is in the background, and shows a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while a session is running. Both are generated entirely on your device. No push-notification service or remote server is involved, and you can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Third parties

We do not share, sell, or rent any information to third parties, because we do not hold any. The only third party involved in your use of SneakyTimer is Apple, which distributes the app and processes purchases under its own privacy policy.

Children

SneakyTimer is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children.

Your choices and deleting your data

Everything SneakyTimer stores is under your control:

  • Delete individual workouts by swiping them in the Workouts tab.
  • Erase everything by deleting the app from your iPhone. This permanently removes all settings, saved workouts, and history. There is no copy anywhere else to request or delete.
  • Turn off notifications in iOS Settings at any time.

Security

Because your information never leaves your device, it is protected by the same safeguards that protect your iPhone: your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS's built-in data protection. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured.

A note on Sneaky Mode

Sneaky Mode intentionally makes the displayed countdown run a little longer than the time it shows. This is a training feature you turn on yourself, the app reveals the real elapsed time after every session, and it is never applied to rest periods. SneakyTimer should not be used for medical, competitive, safety-critical, or official timing.

Changes to this policy

If SneakyTimer ever starts handling information differently — for example, by adding an optional cloud sync — we will update this page, change the effective date above, and update the app's App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
