Summary

StarLive Go has no user accounts and no StarLive servers. The app does not collect analytics, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell or share personal data with advertisers. Video and audio go directly from your phone to the streaming platforms you choose. Location is used only to draw the widgets you turn on.

Camera and microphone

The app captures video and audio only while it is open and only to show the preview, to stream to the destinations you enabled, and to record when you press Record. Recordings are saved to your Photos library on your device. Nothing captured by the camera or microphone is sent to Innovation Gate.

When you go live, the encoded video and audio are sent over RTMP or RTMPS to the server address you entered for each destination (for example YouTube or Twitch). Those platforms process the stream under their own privacy policies.

Location and motion sensors

If you enable the Weather, Motion or Location widget, the app asks for permission to use your location while the app is in use. It uses GPS, compass, barometer and motion sensors to display altitude, heading, speed, acceleration and your position. These readings are drawn into your video; whoever watches your stream or recording can see what the widgets show.

Weather: your approximate coordinates (rounded to four decimals) are sent to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to fetch current conditions. No identifier is sent with the request.
Location: your coordinates are sent to Apple Maps to look up the place name and to render the mini map, under Apple's privacy policy.
Location is never stored by the app beyond the current session and never sent to Innovation Gate.

Turn the widgets off, or revoke location access in iOS Settings, and the app stops using location entirely.

Stream keys and settings

Stream keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only and are used solely to connect to the destination you configured. Destination names, server addresses, widget layout and preferences are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes them.

Purchases

StarLive Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles payment and keeps the transaction record; the app only checks with Apple whether your purchase or subscription is active. Innovation Gate does not receive your name, payment details or Apple ID.

Third parties

Streaming platforms you choose (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Kick, Rumble or your own RTMP server) receive your live video and audio.
Open-Meteo receives approximate coordinates for weather.
Apple provides Maps lookups, in-app purchases and the Photos library.

The app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics.

Your choices

Permissions for camera, microphone, location and Photos can be changed at any time in iOS Settings → StarLive Go.
Delete a destination in the app to remove its stream key from the Keychain.
Subscriptions are managed in your App Store account settings.
Since the app stores no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to export or erase; deleting the app erases everything it stored.

Children: the app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
